In this workshop you will learn how to create the best possible grazing plan for the coming season without having a wreck. Here you will learn the tools & planning for profitable, regenerative grazing management. Time will be spent learning to read the landscape and in-field indicators of rangeland health and developing a grazing plan that fits your context and goals.
Attendees will walk away with the tools and step-by-step instructions to write their own holistic grazing plan - You will learn each step by doing it yourself!
This two-day workshop is focused on developing a grazing plan for the Las Piletas and Carrizo Ranches for the upcoming growing season. You will learn how to use a simple planning chart for planning, implementing, and monitoring grazing. Each participant will create a grazing plan using these steps.
