St. Sabine, Roman Martyr in the homonym Church on the Aventino
Second-century Roman noblewoman converted to Christianity through her servant Serapia. She was martyred around AD 120 for refusing to renounce her faith, and her relics rest in the Basilica of Santa Sabina all'Aventino. A Roman Catholic memorial.
