October 11, 2027, beginning at sundown on October 10.
Yom Kippur is the fast day that closes the Jewish High Holy Days. It opens with Kol Nidre at sundown and runs through the next day to Neilah and the final shofar blast at nightfall. SLO County congregations hold services through the day, often with an afternoon study session or a break for rest in between, and many welcome newcomers who let them know in advance.
