Tu BiShvat in SLO County
January 23, 2027, beginning at sundown on January 22.
Tu BiShvat, the new year of the trees, fits San Luis Obispo County unusually well: seders of fruit, nuts and wine, tree plantings, and creek or garden workdays. Local congregations and Cal Poly's Jewish student groups often run it as an environmental event as much as a religious one.
