Simchat Torah in SLO County
October 24, 2027, beginning at sundown on October 23.
Simchat Torah is the loudest night of the Jewish year: the Torah scroll is unrolled and carried in seven circuits of dancing, and the annual reading cycle starts over. SLO County congregations do it with music, flags for the kids and a lot of singing, and guests are genuinely welcome.
