Shmini Atzeret in SLO County
October 23, 2027, beginning at sundown on October 22.
Shmini Atzeret follows the week of Sukkot as its own quiet festival day, with the memorial Yizkor service and the prayer for rain. SLO County congregations typically hold a morning service and roll straight into the Simchat Torah celebration that evening.
