Rosh Hashanah in SLO County
October 2 to October 3, 2027, beginning at sundown on October 1.
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, brings the county's largest Jewish gatherings of the year. Congregation Beth David in San Luis Obispo and the county's Chabad and havurah communities hold morning services with the shofar, plus tashlich at the creek or the shoreline in the afternoon. High Holy Day services often ask for tickets or an RSVP, so check with the congregation before you go.
